Taught by a LifeWays trained PlaygardenTeacher, This class is designed for 6 months- 2 years and offers a small group of parents and wee ones to come together in a gentle, developmentally appropriate and emotionally nurturing environment.  Classes encourage young children to explore and socially engage in the wonders of imaginative play with simple handmade and natural materials.  Selected readings focusing on early childhood theory and practice will be distributed and discussed each week in a collaborative manner as parents are encouraged to share their experiences and spend time in quiet observation.  Such observations offer a continued understanding of child development, as well as gaining further knowledge of how best to support their child's unfolding abilities.  Typical activities include:  circle time (songs, finger play, lap games, and nursery rhymes), a wholesome organic snack, free play/creative play indoors and outdoors, handwork or craft and stories. (Space is limited to 6 families)

Our Ladybug Forest class will meet at a local park following a similar rhythm to our campus program with a deeper focus on connecting with nature and findin
g reverence in the little moments shared in natural surroundings.  Join us to connect with families learning to welcome the outdoors into their lives. (Space is limited to 8 families)
